ADHD Assessment in Abuja for Children, Teens, and Adults

A structured ADHD evaluation for children, adolescents, and adults experiencing attention difficulties, procrastination, impulsivity, disorganisation, task initiation problems, forgetfulness, poor follow-through, or challenges with school, work, and daily functioning.

Is This ADHD Assessment for You or Your Child?

ADHD assessment may be helpful when a child, teen, or adult experiences persistent difficulties with attention, concentration, organisation, impulsivity, restlessness, forgetfulness, time management, task initiation, or completing tasks. These concerns may affect school, work, relationships, emotional wellbeing, or daily life.

For children, ADHD may show up as difficulty staying focused, frequent forgetfulness, fidgeting, impulsive behaviour, careless mistakes, or difficulty taking turns. For adults, ADHD may show up as difficulty managing attention, completing long tasks, staying organised, following through, managing time, or feeling internally restless.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you assess ADHD in both children and adults?

Yes. We provide ADHD assessment for children, teens, and adults. The process differs depending on age, history, concerns, and the type of report needed.

Can adults be assessed for ADHD even if they were not diagnosed as children?

Yes. Adults may seek assessment when long-standing difficulties with attention, organisation, restlessness, time management, procrastination, or follow-through continue to affect work, relationships, study, or daily life. ADHD symptoms begin in childhood and may continue into adulthood, although adult presentation can look different.

Does every ADHD assessment include an IQ test?

No. The child ADHD evaluation includes cognitive assessment, and Adult Option One includes full cognitive/IQ testing. Adult Option Two does not include a full cognitive/IQ assessment.

Will I receive a written report?

Yes, comprehensive ADHD assessments usually include a written psychological report and a feedback session. The type of report depends on the assessment pathway chosen.

Can the report support school or workplace recommendations?

Where appropriate, assessment findings may support school, workplace, or other recommendations. Please contact us first if the report is needed for a specific external purpose.

What if I am unsure whether it is ADHD, anxiety, trauma, or something else?

We can begin with an evaluation session. ADHD can overlap with other concerns, so the assessment process helps clarify what may be contributing to the difficulties.
